Day 01: Delhi/Chandigarh – Shimla
Pick up from Delhi/Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport and proceed to Shimla. On
Arrival in Shimla, transfer to the hotel by car. Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh & former summer capital of the British Raj known as the queen of hills, and it offers some of the most beautiful views of the Himalayas. Check into the hotel and overnight at Shimla.
Day 02: Shimla – Kufri – Local Sightseeing
After Breakfast drive to Kufri situated at an altitude of 2680 meters. Kufri: The name Kufri is derived from the word Kufri meaning “lake” in the local language. Kufri is a resort hill station in the district of Shimla Himachal Pradesh. It is located 20 km from the state capital Shimla on National Highway No.05. Kufri is Famous for the Himalayan view & Nature Park. Visit Fun Campus and enjoy adventure activities like Snow Skiing during snowfall in winter, Sky Swinger, Bulgy Ejection, Zip Lane, Burma Bridge etc on a direct payment basis. After that drive to the city tour visiting Lakkar Bazaar, Christ church, and Scandal point. Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town – The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight at Shimla.
Day 03: Shimla – Manali Via Kullu
After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Manali, a perfect hill station covered with Snow Mountains and beautiful waterfalls. On arrival at check into the hotel and overnight at Manali Hotel.
Day 04: Manali Local Sightseeing
The morning after breakfast goes for a city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Club House, Tibetan Monastery and Vashishta Village.
Hadimba Devi Temple: Hadimba Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungari Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manali, a hill station in the State of Himachal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata.
Club House: Ideal for people of kids, as well as adults, Club House, is an amazing amusement and adventure zone, which is one of the most popular attractions in Manali. Placed on the banks of Manalsu Nallah (a branch of the Beas River), it has various indoor and outdoor game facilities. The Clubhouse is managed by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC). It has a British style of architecture. Visitors can enjoy games like carom, skating, go-karting billiards, and table tennis.
Tibetan Monastery: The Tibetan monastery is one of the major tourist spots in
Manali. Tibetan Monasteries have been set up due to a huge number of Tibetan peoples settled in Kullu & Manali.
Vashishta Village: Vashishta is a small village located around 3 km from Manali across the River Beas. This beautiful village is famous for its sulphurous hot water springs and Vashishta temple, built just next to the springs. The water from this spring is believed to have great healing powers, which can cure many skin diseases and other infections. There are Turkish-style bath houses available here that contain
hot water from the springs, which are used to take baths and enjoy the warmth of the place in privacy. There are separate baths for both men and women, fitted with showers. Overnight at Manali.
Day 05: Manali – Solang valley / Rohtang Pass Sightseeing
After breakfast drive to Solang valley where you can enjoy Paragliding. It is located beside the Solang Village & Beas Kund and it is 13 km from Manali. You can enjoy several adventure activities like Paragliding, Snow Scooting, Skiing etc. on a direct payment basis. After that drive towards Atal Tunnel and Sissu if possible. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight at Manali.
Please Note: Rohtang pass is located 36 km away from Manali. This Pass is only accessible between 15th May to 15th November each year, as it is covered by snow. We generally visit the Rohtang Pass on an extra cost basis, which has been permitted by the Border Security Force. Also note: Snow clothes, jackets and gum boots are available for rent in the shops located on Rohtang Road, you can rent them at an additional cost if needed.
Day 06: Manali – Dharamshala
After breakfast drive to Dharamshala has everything for a perfect holiday covering a wide area in the form of twin settlements, Lower Dharamshala (1380m) is a busy commercial centre. While upper Dharamshala (1830m) with the suburbs of McLeod Ganj, retains a British flavour and colonial lifestyle. Afternoon drive for local sightseeing visit Dalai Lama faces St, John Church and evening free to stroll around the local market. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Dharamshala – Dalhousie
Today Morning after breakfast drive towards Dalhousie situated at 2039 meters in the outer slopes of the Dhauladhar range with its natural beauty and natural surroundings. Dalhousie still has a touch of the British Raj and its colonial style building and houses bring back the flavors of an earlier era. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Dalhousie – Khajjiar Sightseeing
After breakfast, we proceed to Khajjiar. Often called India’s Switzerland, Along its fringes, thick forests of deodar climb the slopes, the snow-line rests above these woods and in the centre of the glade, is a small lake fed by streams that traverse the green carpet. Khajjiar was probably a glacial bowl formed during the last Himalayan ice age and left with a lake that gradually withered away. Khajjiar is part of the notified Kala top – Khajjiar sanctuary & returns back to Dalhousie. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Dalhousie – Amritsar Sightseeing
After breakfast drive to Amritsar holy city of Sikhs famous for the Golden Temple – also known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism followed by a visit to Jallianwala Bagh – a historic garden and memorial of national importance preserved in the memory of those who were killed in the Jallianwala Massacre that happened on 13th April 1919. On arrival drive to the Wagah border to watch the border Retreat Ceremony. Evening Visit Golden Temple & Jallianwala Bagh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Amritsar – Chandigarh / Delhi Drop
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Delhi airport / Railway station drop. Rohtang Pass visit is an extra cost. It will be officially closed after 15th Nov.
